From the tiniest of shark teeth to a whopping whale skeleton, the fossils of Horsehead Cliffs show that life was once very different at Westmoreland.

This ranger guided hike will take you 0.6 miles to Fossil Beach. Bring water, hat and sunscreen, and hiking shoes. Feel free to stop inside the Visitor Center before the scheduled time of this hike, ask the front desk if you can borrow a sifter to help you beach comb and find fossils!

Meet at Big Meadow Trailhead.
