Westmoreland State Park Trail Corps are calling all volunteers, established or new to help tackle some trail work. There has been some work done on Beaver Dam Trail so far, but the amount of rough spots left from the end of March was too much work for one morning in April.

Meet in the parking area at the fountain at 9:30AM. We will walk through Campground C to the access to Turkey Neck Trail. Keep following Turkey Neck straight ahead and then take the second left. This is where the long-closed section of Turkey Neck was, but now it is called Beaver Dam. This old segment of Turkey Neck now joins a new trail that connects to Beaver Dam, making a loop. The trail guides at the Visitor Center and on the website are the new edition!

We will work until 12:30PM, but bring any food that you might want, plus water and work gloves.
