June 3, 2022. 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Trees are everywhere, but why are they important? Junior Rangers will spend the day with Rangers learning all about the importance of trees, what makes them all unique, and how to be good stewards. Children will play games related to trees, hike through wooded areas, and spot many different species.

Snacks and lunch will not be provided, but are encouraged. Be sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray, and wear clothes that can get dirty. Parents should plan to drop off their children by 8:50 AM and return for pick-up at 3 pm. All children must be signed in and out by an adult and a photo ID will be required at pick-up.

Pre-registration is required for all children. Registration can be made in person at the Visitor Center or by calling 540-288-1400. Space is limited to 15 children, so register early.

The cost is $10.00 per child for one day and includes all materials. Ask about our discount for multiple sessions.
