Join Merrimac Farm Certified Virginia Master Naturalists and Prince William County staff on a one hour walk and talk about the Spotted Lanternfly, a new invasive species recently identified in the county. Discussion topics will cover the insect's ecology, host tree species, and steps guests can take to keep their own trees healthy and resilient. Following the walk, guests will be provided instructions and materials needed to construct a circle trap to help monitor for the laternfly on their property.
