April 24, 2022. 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Many wonderful plants from around the world can enhance home gardens if they are kept under control, but if they invade a natural area the results can be devastating to the native plants and the animals who depend on them. This program has three components: a talk about the invasive plants at the park, a walk to see first-hand just how they colonize, and the opportunity to help control their spread by pulling them up. Part of the walk will be off-trail in a wooded area. Closed-toe footwear required.
