March 26, 2022. 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

March is Women's History Month and we are celebrating! We will hike to the Neck Fields Loop in hopes of seeing Bald Eagles and honor Rachel Carson's work "Silent Spring". Her writing helped save endangered eagles. Along the way, we'll play a round of Colors of Nature Bingo as we also learn about Jane Colden and Florence Augusta Merriam Bailey's roles as the first female botanist and first lady of ornithology.

This hike is roughly two and a half miles round trip so plan for a two hour hike. Wear comfortable closed toed shoes and bring your water bottle.
