When
April 29, 2022. 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Come to Caledon State Park to expand your understanding of those that we call "cold-blooded."
Reptiles and amphibians are often thought of as gross, slimy, or scary. Yes, ectotherms, or "cold-blooded" creatures, are different from us "warm-blooded" endotherms, but why? How? Learn the differences and the similarities between them and us at a ranger-lead discussion, followed by a short, half mile hike to explore their natural habitats. Make sure you bring water and dress for the activity and weather.
This program is free, but let us know you are coming by calling us at (540)663-3861. Parking fee is $5.
