Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Trash to Art Day

Come celebrate Earth Day at Caledon State Park by participating in a trash collection on the beach, followed by an arts and crafts workshop in which you use the debris to make lovely pieces of art!

The whole event is free, so bring all of your family and friends to this fun outdoor day! We will be providing our beach cleaning volunteers with a wagon ride down to the river and back up to the parking lot. At the beach, the park will provide trash bags and gloves to make collection easier. After the clean up, you have to opportunity to stick around and make your trash into art!

Please let us know that you are coming by giving us a call at (540)663-3861. Please dress according to the weather and activity and bring water. Parking fee is $5.
