Celebrate National Kids to Parks Day with a special fishing tournament at Shenandoah River State Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21. This kids-only tournament (15 years and younger) will be held at our riverside picnic area at the end of Daughter of Stars Drive. No cheating, dads! Winners will be selected based on biggest and most unique catch of the day - make sure to snap a picture or get a ranger to weigh your catch in order to be considered for the grand prizes. Please register in advance at the Visitor Center.
