Visitor Center

June 4, 2022. 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Belle Isle State Park has over 9 miles of trails to be explored. Bike, ride, or hike; solo, with the kids or the fur-kids. Get outside and enjoy the journey!

Join us for a hike on the newly reopened Deep Creek Trail to see the native plants and shoreline restoration for yourself. We will talk about the work done to the shoreline and see the new native wildflowers, grasses, and shrubs that established themselves while the trail was closed last season and part of this season and pick-up any trash along the way.

Wear your closed-toe shoes, long pants, work gloves and bring your bug spray for the hike. Don't forget your reusable water bottle! Trash bags will be provided.
