Composting can help us in many different ways, from providing valuable nutrients to our soil to using waste products for new purposes. Learn the benefits and methods of composting with Dr. Kimberly Hodge as we explore how community composting can help our environment.

Kim has been the Director of Sustainability for Washington and Lee University since 2014. She received her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in human dimensions of natural resource management. Before that, she worked for DCR in the Richmond office, and she has a great love for Virginia's state parks. She also currently sits on the Virginia Department of Education's (VDOE) Environmental Education Advisory Committee and on the board of Boxerwood Education Association.
