Kim has been the Director of Sustainability for Washington and Lee University since 2014. She received her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in human dimensions of natural resource management. Before that, she worked for DCR in the Richmond office, and she has a great love for Virginia's state parks. She also currently sits on the Virginia Department of Education's (VDOE) Environmental Education Advisory Committee and on the board of Boxerwood Education Association.
