Great Backyard Bird Count: Guided Bird Hike

Location of Hungry Mother State Park in Virginia

Where

Hungry Mother State Park, 2854 Park Blvd., Marion, VA 24354.
Spillway

When

Feb. 21, 2022. 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Look up, look down, listen very closely and add another bird to the international Great Backyard Bird Count. There is still time to be a citizen scientist as you enjoy a morning birding adventure. Join Hungry Mother State Park's volunteer Mike Evans to search high and low for our feathered neighbors. Afterwards, all the birds will be reported to the Audubon Society on eBird so they can be counted in this year's bird count.

Sunday's birding adventure will meet at the Spillway Parking Lot and Monday's birding adventure will meet at the boat ramp off of Mitchell Valley Road.
