Take in the brisk January air with a night hike led by a ranger. Disconnect and see the night sky as early humans once did and learn about superstitions that surround our closest celestial neighbor, the moon. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
The hike is about 1 mile long. Please dress for the weather. Flashlights are welcome, but guests are encouraged to keep them off and allow their eyes to adjust to the darkness. Registration is required. Please call 804-796-4472 or email Rebecca.whalen@dcr.virginia.gov to register.
