Join us for a special night hike through False Cape State Park! This program includes an open-air tram ride through Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge to the state park where we will walk through pristine maritime forest and sand dune habitats to the seashore, searching for owls along the way. Expect to walk 1.5 miles roundtrip, partly over soft sand. Dress for the weather and don't forget a flashlight!

Space may be limited based on current COVID-19 guidance. Reservations are required. To make a reservation please call (757) 426-7128 during Visitor Center hours (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.).

To keep staff, volunteers, and participants safe, all participants must wear a face covering while riding the tram. Participants must pre-pay for the program; park staff will call before the program to collect a credit card payment over the phone. Participants may not attend the program if they have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell.

*Note: This program will be cancelled if the temperature is below freezing.
