Did you know that the Caledon land was once on the ocean floor? Find out how fossils are formed and what types can be found at the park before we take a ride down to the Potomac River to scour the shoreline for these clues to the past.

Masks are required for the wagon ride. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear close-toed shoes that can get wet. Reservations are required as space is limited. To reserve your spot, call (540)663-3861 or stop by the Visitor Center. Parking fee is $5.
