Ever wonder what creatures live in the dark depths of a freshwater marsh? Do you ponder the mysteries of vernal pools? Discover hidden life in the wetland waters of Belle Isle State Park. We will take a short hike on Mud Creek Trail to a nearby hidden wetland and keep a lookout for critters large and small.

Unvaccinated visitors must wear face coverings inside all park facilities and where social distancing is not possible.
