Winter Wonderland
Most of us may be getting just a little tired of snow events this winter, but you sure can't beat the beauty of our Virginia State Parks under a blanket of snow.

Thanks to heroic efforts by our park staff, all but one of our cabin parks was able to accommodate the Valentine's Day/President's Day weekend cabin reservations. I am sure they are more tired of the snow than I am. We're talking plowing roads, parking lots, and had shoveling cabin walkways and access.

In my part of Virginia, temperatures will reach 62 today and 70 this week. So, maybe we can look at these pictures with fondness and the hope that the silly groundhog was wrong this year! Although the weatherman said something about snow next Tuesday ....
