Tell your folks that we dawgs love to hike at Virginia State Barks, we really love it.

Shawnee invites you to tag along with her on a road trip to Furginia, where she spends a couple nights in a cabin at Bear Creek Lake State Bark and has some adventures on the trails. So join Shawnee and me as we both say:

Aren't you glad we can stay in Virginia State Bark cabins with our family? Yawl can learn more about the cabins at Bear Creek Lake State Bark here. There's also a page devoted to accessibility in our barks here.
Remember, paws were meant to get muddy,
And if they aren't then yawl aren't tryin' hard 'nuff!
Editor's Note: If you missed some of their earlier adventures in Virginia State Parks, Shawnee Shep and her mom have been a great hiking team and live in New Jersey. This is a recent update from a visit to our Virginia State Parks, beginning back in 2011. Shawnee and her mom hiked most weekends and usually did long hikes, often 20 miles on a weekend. Nancy Heltman invited them to visit Virginia, or as Shawnee calls it Furginia, and write about their hikes.
