Virginia State Parks to host merchandise trade show March 6-7

Merchandise for Gift Shops etc

(RICHMOND) – A merchandise trade show for gift and souvenir buyers will be held at the Wytheville Meeting Center, March 6 and 7. Sponsored by Virginia State Parks, this annual event connects wholesale vendors with buyers from parks, attractions, hospital gift shops, wineries and other retail shop managers from across the region.
 
Show hours will be March 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 7, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free, but buyers must pre-register or register at the door.
 
The trade show will also feature three presentations: Susan Wagner, of Smart Retailing, will present Beyond Displays – How to Really Engage Your Customer, March 6 at 2:30 p.m. and Do Not Be Afraid of Facebook, on March 7 at 10 a.m. Also on March 7, at 2:30 p.m., Garnett Marsh of Washington Homeopathic will present How Homeopathy Takes Care of the Mind, Body and Spirit.
 
Business owners and managers with gift sales can meet with nearly 50 vendors representing around 100 product lines as varied as apparel and souvenirs to custom products, plush, jewelry, collectables and much more.
 
The Wytheville Meeting Center in Wytheville, Va., is near Interstate 77 and Interstate 81, adjacent to the Wytheville Community College.
