The Weather Is Not Frightful at Holliday Lake
Here at Holliday Lake State Park the weather is cold, but that doesn't mean you have to stay away.

Get out and play before the really cold weather comes
We haven't had any snow yet, but it could happen soon!
If you plan to do any hiking during cold weather, just be sure to plan ahead and check out a few Winter Hiking Tips before you head out. Holliday Lake State Park is open all year from 8:00 a.m. to dusk.
If the cold weather just makes you wish for summer, start planning next summer's camping trip now. To make a campsite reservation, call 1-800-933-7275 (Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or you can book online anytime.
Summer is just around the corner
Holliday Lake State Park is just two hours from Roanoke, just two hours from Richmond and three and a half to four hours from Northern Virginia/Tidewater/Virginia Beach/Norfolk.
