We haven't had any snow yet, but it could happen soon!

If you plan to do any hiking during cold weather, just be sure to plan ahead and check out a few Winter Hiking Tips before you head out. Holliday Lake State Park is open all year from 8:00 a.m. to dusk.

If the cold weather just makes you wish for summer, start planning next summer's camping trip now. To make a campsite reservation, call 1-800-933-7275 (Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or you can book online anytime.

Holliday Lake State Park is just two hours from Roanoke, just two hours from Richmond and three and a half to four hours from Northern Virginia/Tidewater/Virginia Beach/Norfolk.
