Our Virginia State Park cabins are very popular destinations year round.

Many customers book their summer vacations eleven months in advance and we are finding that folks book even weekend stays farther in advance. Of course when you plan that far in advance, sometimes things happen and you can't make the trip. If it is a last minute issue, we end up with one of those great cabins sitting empty. So a couple of years ago we decided we would rather discount the cabin 25% than have it sit empty and so the last minute cabin getaway discount was born. 

Cabin 13, Hungry Mother State Park

How does it work? Call us Thursday or Friday (Thursday is best of you want to include Friday night in your stay) and make a reservation for a cabin starting on Friday or Saturday and for as long as you'd like (up to our maximum stay limit of 14 nights), and we'll take 25% off if you mention the last minute cabin getaway discount. You can only get this discount by calling the reservation center at 800-933-7275. Please remember we're open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Normally we will do a Facebook post on Thursday to mention which parks have availability, but you don't have to wait for that.

Camping at New River Trail State Park
