Love Comes to Kiptopeke State Park!

Please join us at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 when the Virginia Tourism Corporation will unveil the new LOVE artwork at Kiptopeke State Park in the form of giant Adirondack chairs that spell out the word LOVE. Bring a picnic lunch, fly some kites with us, and lounge on the beach.

The first 50 kids to come to this event will receive a free Virginia is for Lovers T-shirt. There are also 100 free Virginia is for Lovers beach towels up for grabs for the first 100 families to take their picture on the LOVE artwork and share it on social media (such as Facebook or Twitter).
The artwork will remain on display at Kiptopeke State Park throughout the summer and is part of a statewide effort to promote family-friendly travel and to share the message that “Love is at the heart of every Virginia vacation.” There are still campsites available if you want to stay the night.
