Golden Blaze
Shared by Ed Gowen, as Guest Blogger.
As an outdoor painter the State Parks have provided me with a wealth of locations from which to draw my subject matter.
This a painting taken from the James River State Park from where I frequently paint. Many have seen my various renditions of this wetland and thought it was the coast lands of the Southeast USA. They are surprised to learn that such natural beauty can be found right here in central Virginia. This spot is rich in beauty and wildlife.
