Fall Farm Festival at Sky Meadows State Park is Every Weekend in Octob
The 9th Annual Fall Farm Festival at Sky Meadows State Park is held each weekend in October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Delaplane.
The Pumpkin Patch is open at Sky Meadows State Park!
These weekends feature live music, interpretive programs, living history demonstrations, Ghosts of Mount Bleak House Tours, and delicious food.
Oct. 5 and 6 is Wildlife and Habitat weekend, Oct. 12 and 13 is Agricultural Weekend, Oct. 19 and 20 is Rest and Relaxation Weekend, and Oct. 26 and 27 is the History Weekend.
The Wildlife & Habitat Weekend on Oct. 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will spotlight the natural resources of the park. Celebrate the beauty and diversity of the park through a variety of programs, demonstrations, and activities.
Visit with Master Naturalists, Virginia Department of Forestry foresters, Audubon Society birders, Wildlife Ambassadors, and Search and Rescue Dogs. Learn about Geocaching and explore the park’s diverse plant and wildlife habitats using GPS technology. Attend one of our Ranger-led programs and discover hidden natural treasures along one of the many miles of park trails.
In addition to the nature-themed programs, we also offer Ghosts of Mount Bleak House Tours, live music, delicious food and drinks for sale, and, of course, the pick-your-own pumpkin patch.

Saturday, October 5
10 a.m. to Noon - Audubon Bird Walk (approximately 2 miles) - Meet at the Visitor Center
11 a.m. to Noon - Blue Ridge Wildlife Center Wildlife Ambassadors - Location is the Historic Area
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - The Farmer's Forge - Location is the Blacksmith Shop
Noon to 3 p.m. - Live Music with the Chesham Creek Band - Location is the Log Cabin
Noon to 4 p.m. - Raptor Conservancy of Virginia Ambassadors - Location is the Historic Area
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - VA Search and Rescue Dog Association Demonstration - Location is the Carriage Barn
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. - Skulls and Skins - Location is the Historic Area
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Ghosts of Mount Bleak House Tours - Location is Mount Bleak House
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Life's a Hoot - Location is the Picnic Area
Sunday, October 6
10 a.m. to Noon - Geocaching 101 - Meet at the Visitor Center
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - The Farmer's Forge - Location is the Blacksmith Shop
Noon to 3 p.m. - Live Music with John Kovac - Location is the Log Cabin
Noon to 4 p.m. - Raptor Conservancy of Virginia Ambassadors - Location is the Historic Area
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. - Trail Candy: Paw-Paws - Meet at the Valley Trailhead
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Ghosts of Mount Bleak House Tours - Location is the Mount Bleak House
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Fall Color Walk - Meet at the Blue Ridge Trailhead

Sky Meadows State Park is located at 11012 Edmonds Lane, Delaplane, VA 20144-0710. The park is less than two miles south of Paris, Va., via U.S. Route 50 to Route 17 South; or seven miles north of I-66, Exit 23 on Route 17 North. The park entrance is on State Route 710.
