Virginia State Parks has been recognized for more than 80 years as offering some of the most romantic locations in Virginia for couples falling in love.

We have so many romantic spots that it would be hard to put them all in one blog, and we wouldn't even touch the surface. Virginia State Parks offers day tripping opportunities on some of Virginia's most beautiful and romantic waterways, scenic mountains and rolling meadows. With hundreds of cabins and more than 1,800 campsites available for overnight getaways across the state, we seem to have thought of everything.

Some Virginia State Parks are well known to rekindle the flame and ignite fires that last a lifetime. Here are just a few of those parks and their epic locations:
