5 Ways to Support the Virginia Association for Parks on Giving Tuesday
Last Thursday, we gave thanks.
Over the weekend we celebrated the beauty of nature by opting outside.
Tomorrow, Dec. 1, it's time to give back.
You can support our Virginia State Parks through the Virginia Association for Parks (VAFP)
1. Join the VAFP
Show your support for our Virginia State Parks through the work of the Virginia Association for Parks a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. There are several membership options including a free membership, a sustaining membership of $10 for individuals and $20 for organizations, as well as Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships. You can join online via credit card or mail in a membership application (PDF).
2. Donate to VAFP Projects
From playground equipment to visitor center exhibits to just a general donation, you can select the VAFP project you would like to support. The VAFP offers honor and memorial gifts placed in a Virginia State Park as well. Find out more here.
3. Support the VAFP through your purchases at Amazon and Kroger
The VAFP is a registered charity for both the Amazon Smile giving program and Kroger's Community Rewards Program.

We would love to find members interested in supporting the work of the VAFP which includes assisting our many "Friends of" organizations and by talking to members of the General Assembly about the value and needs of Virginia State Parks.
