Spring in Virginia State Parks

As trees begin to bud and wildflowers emerge, it’s the perfect time to explore a new trail, spot wildlife or simply soak in a beautiful spring view. Camping opens back up the first Friday in March, and April brings Dark Sky Month—ideal for stargazing. And if you can hold out until May, National Kids to Parks Day is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your children to the magic of our parks.
