Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Earth Day: Reduce, Re-use, Recycle

Help us celebrate Earth Day. Bring the kids to the park and learn how you can help keep our environment clean, as well as help our local wildlife. Participate in fun activities where you'll learn to re-purpose items that might otherwise have ended up in the landfill. Here is a great way to turn trash to 'treasure'. Learn how to make a soda bottle birdfeeder using recyclable materials. All activities are free, but regular parking fees apply.

**To ensure the safety of all participants, we ask that you follow all CDC guidelines including wearing a mask and social distancing from those outside your family group.**
