The 156th Anniversary of the Battles of Sailor's Creek event will offer multiple living history programs throughout the day. The historic Overton-Hillsman House will be open for touring. Historical interpreters will provide displays and offer insight to the fatigues of the retreat and military camp life on campaign. Major General Phillip Sheridan and staff will establish headquarters there and will discuss how he managed to coordinate the attack on General Robert E. Lee's rearguard.

Social Distancing and Covid-19 protocols shall be strictly observed. This family-friendly program is free to the public. Should adverse weather conditions arise, portions of the event schedule may be altered.
