Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

September 17, 2021. 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Natural Bridge State Park will be hosting campfire programs at Cave Mountain Lake on the first and third Fridays of the month, beginning June 4, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Guests who participate will have to pay the $8 day use fee or buy an annual pass from the United States Forest Service. Those camping at Cave Mountain Lake will not have to pay an extra fee.

Please park near the first large day use parking area. The campfire will be held near here at the community campfire pit. Cave Mountain Lake asks that all day use visitors leave before 10:00 pm.
