Reservations Only, limited to 15 participants: Sign up at the Camp Store (757) 331-3400 Learn hands on about the simple, relaxing hobby of crabbing. The fishing pier is a former ferry landing that juts out into the Chesapeake Bay and it is a great place to fish and crab. A park ranger will be assisting with knot-tying, lures, and casting. Forgot your crab trap? That's ok. The park provides them and bait. This is a great program for adults and children new to crabbing. If you get hooked on this family fun, the park's camp store stocks a full array of fishing and crabbing tackle and bait. An FIP (Fisherman Identification Program) is free and required at http://www.mrc.virginia.gov/FIP . $2/person, $6/family.
