Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

The Get Schooled series is designed as a fun interactive way to teach youth about the environment, history and recreation here in Prince Edward County and how it relates to what they are learning in school. This program is open to everyone who wishes to be an ambassador of the environment. Don't know who or what an ambassador of the environment is? Guess you will have to come find out.

Have you already learned about the anatomy of a worm? Ever wonder how a worm finds another? Did you know some insects have been living in the dirt for 17 years waiting for the right time to emerge? If you know the answers or not High Bridge invites you to come share in the education and exploration of what is in our dirt.
