When

April 10, 2021. 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Journey to the heart of False Cape State Park away from city lights and traffic to observe a spectacular night sky. Learn how to identify constellations and other bright objects in the night sky. We will be staying at one location to observe the night sky, so be sure to bring something comfortable to sit or lay on and a flashlight. In the event of cloudy/overcast skies, we may opt for a night hike instead.

Cost: $10 per person. Space may be limited based on current COVID-19 guidance. Reservations are required. To make a reservation please call the park at (757) 426-7128.

To keep everyone safe, the following protocols will be in place: All participants must wear a face covering while riding the tram. Participants must pre-pay for the program; park staff will call before the program to collect a credit card payment over the phone. Participants may not attend the program if they have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell.
