Mom has always done so much for you—now it’s your chance to do something special for her. Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend by submitting up to two flowers for “Blossoms and Blessings – A Celebration of Mom,” in honor or in memory of your mother.

Clear bud vases are recommended, though potted flowers are also welcome. Please remember that all displays must be no taller than 18 inches. Suggested options include potted plants, cacti, succulents, bulb plants, and tuberous plants.

The exhibition will be featured in the Victorian Parlor of the Museum on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday, May 10 from 1 p.m.–5 p.m.

All exhibits and registration forms must be submitted to the museum by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 8. Registration forms are available at the museum’s front desk or by email at doretha.cole@dcr.virginia.gov.

There is no charge to view the flower display; however, standard admission applies for those who wish to tour the museum: $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6–12, and free for children under 6.
