Pollinator Garden Clean-Up

Location of Holliday Lake State Park in Virginia

Where

Program Location: Campfire Circle
Main Park Address: Holliday Lake State Park, 2759 State Park Rd., Appomattox, VA 24522.

When

April 25, 2026. 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Join use for a garden clean-up at Holliday Lake State Park as we work together to support and enhance vital pollinator habitat. Volunteers will help remove invasive plants, refresh native garden beds, and create healthier spaces for bees, butterflies, and other pollinator species that keep our ecosystems thriving.

No experience necessary - just as long as you bring your enthusiasm our rangers will show you what to watch out for. This is a great opportunity to learn about native plants, enjoy time outdoors, and make a positive impact on the park's natural resources.

We recommend bringing work gloves, a reusable water bottle, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We will have extra gloves and tools on site. No parking free is required while participating in volunteer service programs. If you have questions feel free to call the Park Office at (434) 248-6308. We hope to see you there!
