Celebrate International Dark Sky Week by learning how to call for owls on Cedar Creek.

There is a whole world that wakes up when daylight ends. On this trip with a ranger you will learn how you can meet the most charismatic citizen of the night - owls! Wander under the Natural Bridge at night down Cedar Creek, calling for owls and seeing "whooo" calls back, or even comes close by to investigate.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. To register, call (540) 254-0795. Prepayment is taken at time of registration by credit card over the phone, and you will be emailed a receipt. It is $7 for adults or $4 for children.

Parks are for everyone - the trail is flat and accessible, but to access it requires going down (and back up) 137 stairs. If this will be difficult for anyone in your group, please let us know when registering and we will have alternative transportation available.
