As the sun sets, the adventure shifts to the night sky - become a junior astronomer and uncover the mysteries above us.
Join park rangers before tonight's dark sky program to see what it takes to be a junior astronomer. Discover how telescopes work and how to use them. Take a tour of the night sky and learn how to spot constellations. Learn what light pollution is and how it changes what we see at night.
Stick around when it gets dark to enjoy the astronomy program, then try binoculars to see constellations, stars, and planets.
This program is included with the parking fee for Skyline Trail; the parking fee is $5 per vehicle, payable in exact change by self-payment envelope or credit card by QR code on the trailhead kiosk.
