Join us for National Trails Day! Come join us for a hike on Sugar Hill Loop Trail, in honor of National Trails Day we will be hiking the Sugar Hill Loop Trail and the Riverside Trail down to the Orchard and back. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring water and snacks as this hike will be 1 mile in distance. Meeting for this program will be at the Sugar Hill Trail Head. We hope to see you there!

About National Trails Day

On the first Saturday of June, Virginia State Parks celebrates National Trails Day, an annual event encouraging outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to explore hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Virginia’s 44 state parks offer guided hikes, trail maintenance workshops and volunteer opportunities to highlight trail stewardship and the importance of preserving trails for future generations.
