Wonder and walk as Rangers guide you in exploring Leesylvania State Park. You will use your senses to explore many things in our park such as leaves, lichen, birds, and bugs! This 0.8 mile hike will begin at the Visitor Center and travel along Potomac Trail. The trail is made of compacted gravel, rated easy, accessible, and stroller friendly. Finish the hike at the Visitor Center with a craft!

About National Kids to Parks Day
Virginia State Parks celebrates National Kids to Parks Day on the third Saturday in May by offering a variety of fun, family-friendly activities, from nature scavenger hunts and ranger-led hikes to fishing clinics and flora and fauna wagon rides. This annual event encourages kids to explore the outdoors while learning about wildlife and engaging in hands-on environmental education.
