Guided Hike - From Survival to Stewardship

Step into the past on a guided hike through the park. Along the trail, encounter historic structures and explore how people once depended on the land for survival, and how their legacy influences today’s stewardship of the park’s natural resources. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress for the weather. The hike may traverse meadow and woods with some moderately steep and rocky terrain. Meet at the Interpretive Center at 12:45 p.m. to start the hike. Check the park website for weather-related program changes.
