Head over to the historic “Wash House” to uncover the many stories behind this unique historic structure. Was it truly used for laundry, or something entirely different? Who would have spent time here, and what would their days have looked like? How do commonplace housekeeping chores compare to our processes today? Explore the clues hidden in its architecture and discover a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of Mount Bleak residents in the 1800s and the labor that shaped their experiences.
A Ranger will be posted in the Wash House for the duration of the program, so stop by to hear their stories and ask all your burning Sky Meadows questions!
