By watching when plants bloom, and animals return, phenology helps scientists - and park visitors. understand environmental change. Journaling encourages you to slow down, observe, and make connections with nature. Bring your own journal, or create a small natural journal out of recycled materials at the visitor center. We will take a short walk and record our own observations within the park. Sturdy shoes and water are recommended.
