This hands-on experience invites visitors to discover the fascinating and essential connection between agriculture and livestock at Sky Meadows. Learn about traditional agricultural measurements, explore how grain byproducts are used to feed animals, gain appreciation for low-waste farming techniques, and operate a corn sheller machine to grind grain just as farmers did in the past. After harvesting and milling some grain, you’ll take your freshly ground feed to the chicken coop and help nourish our flock, gaining insight into the vital role our produce plays in both farming and food production.
