Explore the Chesapeake Bay through the animals that live in it! The Bay Lab provides guests with a one of a kind look into what some consider the jewel of Virginia. Located within the Main Visitor Center, the Bay Lab is welcome to all ages. Interact with our hands on topographic sand box and come meet our diamondback terrapin animal ambassadors. Stop by during our open hours to chat with a ranger and learn more about the bay and its importance to Virginia.
