The Spring 2025 installment of the Staunton River Star Party will be sponsored by CHAOS (Chapel Hill Astronomical and Observational Society) and hosted at Staunton River State Park. This week-long astronomy festival has gained the attention of astronomers from all over the eastern seaboard and beyond. Registration for this event is required and is run by CHAOS. Astronomers are allowed to camp on the Observation Field during this event. If you are interested in making a campground or cabin reservation for the Star Party, please contact the park. Bathrooms, showers, and food service are offered by the park during this event. Please note that this event is only open to the public during the March 20th observation session which is from 8-10 p.m.
