Looking to get hooked on a new hobby this year?
Join a ranger and learn the basics of catching a fish, from setting up your rod to setting your hook. Learn about different lures and bait, common fish in the area, and practice casting your line out in the water. Winter fishing can be challenging, but it is never to early to start a hobby in the new year.
Participants 16 and older must have a valid Virginia state freshwater fishing license. Fishing licenses can be purchased online on the Virginia DWR website.
This program will meet at Shelter 1.
