Stewardship Sunday

Location of Twin Lakes State Park in Virginia

Where

Twin Lakes State Park, 788 Twin Lakes Rd., Green Bay, VA 23942.
The Discovery Area

When

Feb. 22, 2026. 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Join us for a flexible Stewardship Sunday, offering both self-guided and ranger-led opportunities to lend a hand and give back to Mother Nature. Whether you’re seeking community service hours or simply want to make a positive impact, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

Our self-guided option, Litter Patrol, allows volunteers to explore the park at their own pace while helping keep our trails and natural areas clean. For those who prefer a more structured experience, our ranger-led volunteer project provides guidance, tools, and a deeper look at how our stewardship efforts support the health of the park.

For more information about the ranger-led volunteer project, please call (434) 408-1587. Parking fees do not apply to volunteers while they are performing service at the park.

Parks are for everyone. This is an inclusive program open to all people. To ensure an enjoyable time, please alert park staff to any necessary special accommodations you or your group may need.
