The Friends of Powhatan State Park is a group made up of citizen volunteers from Virginia’s Piedmont region who are passionate about supporting the park’s mission. They are dedicated to strengthening stewardship, conservation, recreation, and educational opportunities for park visitors of all ages.

Powhatan State Park hosts Friends meetings every 3rd Tuesday of the month, and we’d love to have you join us! Whether you're a long-time volunteer, a new member, or simply someone who enjoys the beauty of Powhatan State Park, this meeting is a wonderful opportunity to learn about upcoming park projects, events, and updates.
