Hungry Mother State Park, 2854 Park Blvd., Marion, VA 24354.
Boat Ramp off of Mitchell Valley Road
When
Feb. 13, 2026. 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Take a night time saunter with one of our interpreters and discover how owls master life after dark. Examine real owl wings and pellets up close as we explore the remarkable adaptations that make these birds such skilled nocturnal hunters. We’ll even use a call-box to project a few owl calls. If we’re lucky, we may hear a response or catch a fleeting glimpse of one in the wild. Gentle one mile hike on grassy paths and short distance on graveled trails.
