With the use of a Celestron telescope, view the astral bodies up close and learn about the history of the stars. You will also learn how to capture night sky photos with a smartphone by adjusting the settings to get the most stars, colors, and views. You are encouraged to bring your own telescope, binoculars, blankets, and chairs to be comfortable while participating.

January 16th @ 5:30PM: Fireside Folklore- Astronomy Edition
February 13th @ 5:30PM: "Written in the Stars" Couple's Stargazing
This program will take place at the Aquia Picnic Area fire pit and requires pre-registration here. Your vehicle must be inside the gates before the park closes, so please arrive 15 minutes early to park your car and get oriented with the viewing area.
Dress for the weather and bring a hot drink! We will be by an open fire with s'mores, but there will be no heated indoor areas available.
If inclement weather occurs, please check this page for cancellations before coming to the park.
